Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Garden Grove, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

I still find myself craving Korean food from time to time, so I decided to give this place a try. They served six different banchan (Korean side dishes), and the auntie came by to ask if we wanted refills, which was a nice touch. For our main dishes, we ordered: βΆοΈ Seafood Pancake (Haemul Pajeon ν΄λ¬Όνμ ) βΆοΈ Bossam (Boiled Pork with Napa Wraps λΌμ§λ³΄μ) βΆοΈ Doenjang Jjigae (Soybean Paste Stew λμ₯μ°κ°) One thing to note is that the table menu doesnβt list prices, so youβll need to check the full menu if you want to know the cost. The rice served here is purple rice, which feels like a traditional Korean touch. They usually provide ice water, but if you prefer hot water, just ask the auntie. They also have hot tea available. This restaurant definitely has an authentic Korean vibe. The dining area is not very large, but the atmosphere feels very Korean and the portions are generous. They also offer Korean marinated crab (ganjang gejang), and based on what I saw that day, most of the customers seemed to be Korean locals. Sharing this spot with anyone who loves Korean food and is looking for a more authentic Korean dining experience!

The food is incredible, itβs so good that mid eating I said βI need to leave them a review this is so good.β Iβm really impressed by the flavors and I love the purple rice and soft tofu stew and the bonchon was so fresh and perfect flavors. The owners and cook are really nice and modified my order for me.

My friend and I got their spicy marinated crab and it was soooo good. The perfect texture and flavor. It wasnβt too spicy and it paired so well with rice and seaweed. We also got the beef soup with dumplings and rice cake which was also amazing as well! The workers here are so kind too

I went to this restaurant for dinner and the moment I saw all the customers were Asians, I knew it was legit lol. The food is really good and the customer is so nice as it is like a family restaurant that is run by some Korean family. I really like the galbi as it flavors is really fit my taste. The price is a bit cheaper compared to another Korean restaurant, I forgot the exact amount. We mainly came here for the raw spicy crab, I didn't try it but my brother and his girlfriend said it tasted really good but a bit too spicy. Overall, highly recommend to try it!
